About me..

I'm a passionate UX/UI and visual designer with an innate curiosity for design and people. Originally from Dublin, Ireland but now based in Berlin, Germany. My journey into design began in university while studying Multimedia Systems/Web engineering at IADT, Dublin. Since then I have worked in-house and freelance creative positions as a photographer and graphic designer in Dublin, London and Berlin. My experience working in these fields has allowed me to nurture strong visual design, communication and organisational skills and taught me the best ideas and creative solutions are a product of diverse collaboration.

While I'm passionate about visually creative work I wanted to explore more the analytical and strategic aspects of the design process and this is what led me to learn UX/UI design, a willingness to combine my analytical, visual design and people skills in a goal oriented structure to create products that have a meaningful and positive impact on the people who use them.

I'm a firm believer that anything can be learned with a curious, open mind and determination to push past limiting beliefs.

Alongside design, I enjoy playing guitar, cooking, drawing, skateboarding and crafting my own upcycled desklamps.
I also volunteer as a repair technician at a 'Repair Café' in Berlin organised by the Psychosozialer Verbund Treptow E.V. The focus of these bimonthly events is to help & educate attendees about repairing broken products and to foster a community around up-cycling.
